We keep an eye on all threads regardless of the tag or if they are solved, but I have now un-marked the solution of this thread to avoid confusion. 🙂
I know you can't get your player ID if you are stuck in the Surprising Choice screen, but do you have your player ID noted down? If so, please, share it with us, that would be helpful for the team looking into this!
If you don't have your player ID but you provided it to one of our advisers in the past, please, let us know as well.

My player ID is: MissSynyster
I've done just about everything I can to resolve it myself
- 3 days, same problem. I've tried everything. Did the troubleshoot, that didn't help. Uninstalled, cleared all my cache etc, restarted my device, waited 18hrs+ before reinstalling. Went through the whole startup tutorial again, clicked to connect to facebook n got the option to switch to my original game, but doing so gets me stuck at the Surprising Choices again.
I have no idea what my player ID is either as I never made a note of it because I had/have no intention of adding friends except one I already have. Do you know what would happen to those of us who were in the middle of a limited time mission while this bug occurred? I’m one mission away from completing the marriage set, and I’ve gotten a notification saying I only have 6 hours before the timer ends. I wouldn’t want to lose the progress I’ve made to be lost due to a bug, especially when I was so close to finishing.
