- @VintageStarlette I totally agree that it is the biggest problem! We get a garden in that section, the section that we get points when we get everything in it and then we turn around and get punished because we make a pretty garden! It is absolutely ridiculous! I am mad as a wet hen, not sure how mad they are when wet but nevertheless I am pretty upset! I just do not understand what in the world we glean from playing this game by the rules just to get our items placed on the restricted list! I was thinking about redoing my house from ground up but fear I would loose even more items! And the cost to clear land! They take that money and have enough room for us to have big houses, big empty houses! EA = Excuses 4 Acquiring
- @BlueWizardRob It really is an issue and with these quest that issue grows and our stuff shrinks! If I had a picket sign it would say '' END the ITEM limit '' and on the other side it would say '' let us have yard sales '' ! 😉 I think a yard sale would help everyone. I know it would help the younger players and the new players and us with our endless inventory. Plus it could teach our kids about 💰! I know it’s wishful thinking but that would be so much fun and it would solve many problems!
- I totally agree about the yard sales, though I just can't get mad at EA, I'm too fond of the game 😉 (I used to play a game by Gameloft, and really, in terms of bugs and glitches, *they* take the cake!) - Plus it could be introduced into the Market street fair since you have an action "sell item", it could then be seamlessly integrated into that event (says somebody who has 0 experience in game development, hahaha. But at least in terms of opportunities, it would appear seamless).
- @JulesDarling 🖤 For years, I haven't heard anyone other than my mother say, "mad as a wet hen," which she interchanges with "so mad, I could kick a chicken." 😄😆😂 That was a sweet thing to hear/read!
- @VintageStarlette LOL I wanted to say things like $h*11 and Gosh Darn it and an English phrase that my mom said a lot but it contained such color and location and fire that I thought better than to use it so wet hen it was! I could kick a 🐓 for sure! Thank you mom of Starlette!! 😁
- @KodamaTreeSpirit I am very fond of this game, fond of my Sims, fond of all of you and fond of your Market Street idea! I think that would be great! We could do the event and have it be interactive! The other players could haggle with us , inspect our goods and get points for their purchases! All we need is a clever programmer and then we can clear out some of our inventory! Yay 😁
- Well, I finally got the 3 Garden Gnomes, but sadly, due to the Item Limit, they never made it out of Storage ... along with the 2 patio umbrellas, 3 benches, 2 Lanterns, & a dining chair. - And I still have a bunch of Lemon Slices that I haven’t even used yet - 🙄 sigh
- @katclawsx3 I too have the three gnomes and two umbrella sets and so on. I guess there is only one thing left to do.... we need to make lemonade out of these lemons! I think Sims 2 had a lemonade stand for the kids! They need to bring it back so we can sell our lemons before they get put into our inventory! I don’t even know what in the world I am going to spend my 75.00 on today! Ha like there’s items for 75.00!
- @JulesDarling I've mostly been leveling everyone, but since the event started, I'm trying to do those lemon events as much as possible until it's over, hoping to get those gems and SimCash! 💎💰💸
- @VintageStarlette Now I am not certain about what I am going to say but it seems like if I do NOT put out the items I get more cash , gems and tickets. Food for thought 💭. The last event I got a pair of glasses and thankfully they don’t require a put a way and I got the gnomes 🏀 and the rest was cash! I think that is the best way to play it. I do like my new patio but I too will keep calm-ish and carry on hoping for the bling and the cash! I am now going to fan girl your house! 🤩
- @JulesDarling 😂😄😆😃 You'll see very little evidence of the lemon items I've gotten so far. Nothing meshes with my "motif!" 🖤
- @VintageStarlette I noticed but you have a little one! Super cute btw! I snapped a picture for you. She had just shocked him! Hee Hee
- @VintageStarlette I understand that it doesn’t match your exquisite house, but I went the more traditional way and I guess that would include the BBQ set! LOL We do have similar bars and you and I both fond those great windows.
- @JulesDarling HAAAAhahaha!!! She looks mighty smug about that! 😂
- @JulesDarling I dreamt a dream: a gorgeous white-pillar gazebo with climbing ivy, grapes, and roses, and a glistening silver grill set beneath like a culinary mirage! 🖤🖤🖤 Not being facetious! I would LOVE that! —Great! Now I'm hungry!!!
- @VintageStarlette I was going to say that but I didn’t dare speak about Greta that way! LOL BUT .....She does look a little smug at that! 🤭
- I haven't reached the dreaded item limit but for all those who have, have you tried the option "yell at the gnome"? (Provided you can take your gnomes out of storage of course) 😉 I have a feeling it might be somewhat therapeutic 😉 😉 😉 SpoilerSpoiler: after yelling at it, your Sim gives it a mighty kick
- Oh I can totally see that! I would build an English Tudor with ivy growing up it and all my Sims would look like a Norman Rockwell painting. There would always be a cracklings fire and when Dad would come home Mom would get his cocktail 🍸. @VintageStarlette
- @KodamaTreeSpirit AAAAAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Omg! No, I never would've discovered that! Hahahaha! Now I gotta try it, after I apologize profusely before the experiment! 😂😃😆😄
- @JulesDarling 🖤🖤 Rockwell 🖤🖤 Adore!
- @KodamaTreeSpirit LOL I figured that one out pretty quickly! Yes it was very therapeutic! 🤬
- @VintageStarlette The biggest thing that I would need to alter is the Genies big....hair!
- Hahaha, it doesn't do it every time (same as the summer tower, the funny effect happens with every second interaction, maybe) but I just yelled at 2 of my gnomes and now the second one broke (it's very cheap to repair, thankfully) and I just had to laugh: "Fair enough EA, fair enough. I totally deserved this. Sorry, gnome"
- I'm totally holding out hope for some classic hairstyles in the future, for both men and women. Surely...SURELY someone has heard or plea! Still plea-ing!
