Re: NO BUBBLE MACHINE

It's and absolute joke!! I have played constantly with 3 sims and opened hundreds of bloody boxes, loads of rugs, mirrors and trousers, in fact I've got loads of everything Bar the bubble machine. Exact same thing happened with the hot tub. Think I'll just give up on the game altogether!!!

Same. I play everyday. Got over 2000 coins probably but never received the bubble bar :/ after this event I will delete the game. It's so exhausting.

The only good thing about the event is I got tons of sim cash from the ornate boxes (+200 more).

I completed the event before the halfway point and continued to amass coins and open boxes. I opened nearly 100 and did not receive a bubble blower. I'm not normally one to complain about things like this, you win some you lose some. It just feels like the odds were really out of the normal range. To continue getting repeats feels unfair. In future, I would suggest making the chance of the main object more likely, and remove duplicates from the possible pool, so the more boxes you open, the greater the chance to get the main object. I think if someone fully commits to the event, they should almost certainly get the main item - with this event it feels like a disproportionate number weren't successful.

I can't be bothered woth the game anymore. All those hours, all that effort and no bubble machine. I really think they want you to use SIM cash and real money or you don't get the prize. I didn't get the hot tub either.

i did use real money to help me along but i wont be doing that again its a waste

  • I was so desperate that I used simcash ( real money) too but I didn't get the Bubble Bar either. SOOOO upsetting =(

I agree that the World of Luxury contests was bad planned and it was not completely enjoyable. Getting the same items over and over again without earn the nicer piece of the collection is unfair.

If the gain is not proportional to the efforts where is the point?? I really hope we all can have the opportunity to get the Bubble Bar in some way because I love it so much!!

No Bubble Blower & a few other things missing, LOTS of duplicates, no sleep & worst of all... My boyfriend & I actually got in an argument & he threatened to delete my game, because he thought I was addicted, like a gambler, he was gonna host an intervention... I'm almost 47 years old & have a real life, that I can't play constantly or invest real money. EA needs to fix issues being mentioned, be more fair...WAY TOO LONG event times, but mostly time in between wait or they will lose players!!!

@OkL80Bug ikr!! This event was like one to two weeks long! Ain't nobody got time for that.

I think Sims Freeplay has better events and everyone has an opportunity to actually get every price.

@emiliadelrey I agree. Freeplay events are more like the Asos event and when we win something we can use it because there's no item limits.🙌

and now to find out that only some people received a game reward under messages saying  - CHECK AND EARN REWARDS ... LOYALTY REWARDS UNLOCKED - ENJOY THESE REWARDS AS A THANK YOU FOR BEING A FAN OF SIMS and received outfits an a statue or other items WTF ??? what about us who did finish the event  , what about us who are also sims fans dont we count , i think there is an unfair system on the game

@Jeandra143 I only got my excess coins turned into Simoleans. Maybe the Loyalty Rewards were for playing Sims 4 and Sims Mobile? I got a Knight statue and a Bear Costume that way. 😮

@Jeandra143 I think it was probably to lure people that play the Sims Games on a computer to playing Sims Mobile on their cell phones or tablets. Also, we had to give them our cell phone number in order for them to send us the rewards link. I would say it's a marketing thing. I'm so sorry you didn't get the bubble blower. I have 2 and would gladly give you one. 😔

thanks hun if gifting was an option that would have been swt but an i play sims 3 an freeplay so if they only gave it to sims 3 players that is a bit unfair to lol i just know that from now i wont be spending my real money on the game as it serves no purpose

@Jeandra143  I play Sims 2, Sims 4, and Freeplay too. I think many of us do here. That's why EA gets a lot of suggestions how to make this game better because we know what we like in those other games and we want to see it incorporated here. I don't care for the loot boxes. They seem more like gambling. Freeplay has gambling too when they do timed events and we have to complete a hobby board before the time runs out and we have to do it 100's of times because there are 12 different styles or items we are trying to win.  I have the hot tub and a table but I never got any of the chairs so there are actions I can't do. I hope they offer the bubbler and hot tub to everyone that missed out on getting them. No one wants to play a game that makes us miserable. 😟

The loot box method of events causes frustration for everyone. Just as in the hot tub event, in spite of playing like it was my job, I still didn't get all the items. In the case of the hot tub event, it means I can't actually use the hot tub I did get because of item dependencies.

Thankfully the bubble bar isn't the same way, because I never did get a single love seat. I got max items of everything but bubble bar and lights, but weirdly enough, never the couch.

When you use RNG, you are guaranteed to disappoint everybody.

Stop using RNG in events. Use the same method as was used for the ASOS event. Let us choose what we want with the coins that we earn. People who throw themselves into the event or pay real money can get what they want.

I briefly considered paying real money to try to get the couch or more lights (that was the best item of them all, tbh) but I realized that it was way too much money to risk getting nothing.

What I just said: Hey EA I would have given you money but you were using RNG so I didn't. I did spend real money on the ASOS event to ensure I got all the prizes. That could have happened again with this event, but it didn't. 🤔🤔🤔

@jooliea Exactly! And if you had gotten a couch you would have had to put them all away. I got 3 of them and the "Item Limit" wasn't satisfied until I put them all in storage. If someone got the bubbler but no rug, some of the interactions are missing. They need to fix a bunch of things but loot boxes and item limit are top 2 for me. 😒

What is also unfair, is that it says in the description of the event that the chances of getting a rare item were 15% but that was definitely lower! I opened around 80 boxes an got like 7 rare items. Real downer.

Whoa the bubbler also has item dependencies?! Ugh I didn't even realize. Honestly, if they're going to make it ridiculously difficult to get all the stuff to the point that someone like me who did EVERYTHING POSSIBLE (seriously, I could not have done more) and got a jillion tokens and opened countless boxes and STILL DIDN'T GET EVERYTHING... They really need to knock off the item dependencies.

@jooliea I totally agree! Item dependencies are not nice! Everyone wants to see 4 of their Sims sitting at the bubbler partying. If you didn't get the rug AND keep the rug out, you won't be able to see that because the interaction is grayed out. 😕

how do you mean its grayed out ?

@Jeandra143 The "blow bubbles with..." interaction is grayed out. (Unavailable)  I had to put the rug into storage and when I went to use the bubbler that interaction was grayed out and it said something like "you need the red rug out or available". That's the main reason everyone wanted the bubbler.😕
