I just thought of - and bought - the wedding arch tonight (and the two other wedding things needed) and got Jaiden in that way. The move in option on the interactions was still missing. But the wedding worked. Phew!
Another Sim I was planning on moving in was Isodora Lopez but she’s now become an elder, so reading your reply she’s now a no go anyway.

It hadn’t occurred to me that Brian Stafford is an elder. Embarrassingly, it’s not the first time I’ve mistaken the dark grey hair for black ☺️. I realise I may be the only one with that distinction, but would the devs/team please consider light grey hair for elders in the future? 💐
EA StaffIf a Sim has dark grey hair then they are an elder and they can’t be moved in yet. I hope this changes.
I used the wedding stuff to get Jaiden in as the options were not there during friendly nor romantic tones.
Hi I’m at level 10 with my soulmate and I can’t ask him to move in (although I have a free slot) not to marrry.
