Rocket Science Career
I just finished the first 2 careers on the Waterfront. I noticed a new career was added: Rocket Science. I can’t seem to find it. How do I access the career?

I thought it meant to use only your playable sims & not a sim contact or a any of your npc sim relatives.

Several people received the quest as late as 1pm onward, I think that's their way of promoting the new offer that also pops up (for this career)? Idk ☹️

Yup, Kat's right. If you used both your playable (active) sims to do the step that has "tap on a Sim you know and [...]" you'll find that the timer will decrease from 8 hours to about 4 hours.
