Sim trading thread - Find a partner for your Sims

Hi @themummyof4,

To get two Sims to meet, one of them should attend the other's party. Add @Hotanuri as a friend in your game, and then either you or @Hotanuri would need to host a party.

All friends are invited to parties, so use the invitation to get both Sims in the same party 😉

Yes, that's what I usually do, Hotanuri is already a friend. I was just wondering about the off-chance of meeting their Sims. It would be nice to actually have the Sims belonging to your friends wandering round, rather than old townies or strangers...

It's a mix, but some of the Sims with the blue plumbob you see in the town are actually from your friends 🙂

If you've used up all your Party Entries for the day, we cannot have our Sims meet each other, unless you throw a Party. Or my Party is currently not available to you.

I have the same issue, I had my sims marry someone else sim I didn’t know they wouldn’t be at the wedding. And haven’t heard from that person yet so she’s divorcing him.
What happens after to your sim that you let someone else marry? Do you open a playable spot? I wish they was some where better for directions to this game. I’m on level 40 nothing else is opening as far as hobbies or workplaces.

When your Sim marries someby elses Sim, and you let them move out, it opens up a playable slot for you.
Thing is, most of my Sims have large families, so rather than sending them out on the streets, it's nice to marry them off.

@themummyof4 question for you since I've never done this before.
When I first make Magnus playable, do I have to give him his first trait or am I able to delay that until you get him? If I have to give him a trait you'll have to let me know what you want it to be.

You might as well give him his first trait. The game will scramble them and randomly reassign the traits, but she will be able to play him with the good one that. you assign for the first day or so until the game randomizer strikes.

Yes, @Simfanatic08, choose a first trait, because it will take a day or so after the party to get to level 8 for the moving in request...

@mrdoggie94- Fitz and Carmen are at level 7 now and will reach level 8 where I can ask her to move in. Please confirm this is ok so I know I can retire George and leave his spot open for her.
