My issue with a child was generational.
So one of my characters (gen1) had a child (g2) with a character owned by another player.
child (g2) grew up to adult and then had their own child (G3).
that child (g3) once playable does not recognise their grandmother who is a complete stranger with no family connection to them but retains mother connection to their child (g2).
however with a NPC grandparent the family connection stays.
why the difference in the game between NPC grandparent and player grandparent?
I mean my G3 chacrter was offered chance to flirt with their grandmother - that's weird.
