I hit player level 10 and the game told me I could get a third playable Sim. Curious, I clicked it, and then I couldn't cancel, and I was forced to create a new Sim. Is there any way to delete a Sim?

If you want to get rid of a Sim, you will need to play with it until it's ready to retire. You could also get rid of that Sim if one of your friends asks your Sim to move to their house 😉

@Tala183670 This is an old thread started in 2017. The game works in a different way now in 2021.
If you accidentally have created a playable Sim, you can make it passive and eventually delete it from your household.
Babies, toddlers, children, adult or retired NPCs can also been removed from a household.

I agree. We need to be able to just out right delete a sim. It’s why I haven’t plaid in over a year cause these sims I created years ago and I don’t want them anymore I want to start over but I don’t want to lose my progress in game. In the sims 4 I can just delete a sim no issue. Or at least kill them off 🫣😅
