Go to a party or level up. Some players have posted on Reddit that they have got rid of this issue by doing so.
I went to a party and also levelled up but it didn’t work for me. Message is still there, I am not able to start events outside home and also not able to move in sim. When I click button nothing happens.
still the same issue for myself; i’ve tried leveling up a few times now and going to parties - nothing has helped. i’ve even made sure to update my ipad and try re starting it

I've levelled up & gone to parties, leveled up my lifestyle. Nothing seems to work.
