I'm having the same issue. the tutorial popped up on my screen when i loaded my game today. it's stuck.
i tried restarting, clearing data and cache.
i cannot start sweet treat showdown from the menu. have to go to the place to start it now
I am having the same issue with the stuck festival message box. I’m also having the issue where I’m unable to start sweet treat events unless I go there. Am also unable to start events with NPCs at all. I’m on an iPad Air iOS 15.3.
Try going to the showdown location and start the challenge there instead of trying to use the sofa at home.
