Weird, you should be able to start it again by starting the career again. See if it pops up again.
- Mine did too! And EA support says they can’t do a blasted thing for me because I can’t prove I finished the quest.
Can you restart the quest though?
I don't know if i can restart it yet, i made that sim for that career and cant retire her yet to try to put a new sim in the career yet.
You can have two Sims doing the same hobby/career from what I've seen.
I had the same issue. I completed the stylist quest and saw that I received a bunch of hairstyles (one being the "Space Puffs" hairdo). When I went to the closet to change my Sim's hair, it wasn't there. I was told to add it to the forum bug list, which I did, but nothing has been done...

Space puffs is a girl hairstyle. You will find it when you do a makeover to one of your Sims daughters.
I never received anything, but I wonder if that is because I went ahead and purchased the hairstyles they popped up for sale.
I purchased them as well, maybe thats the problem.
The rewards for this quest were four hairstyles:
1. Retro curls (women)
2. Braids on braids (women)
3. Surfer chic look (men)
4. Space puffs pigtails (female child)
Completing the quest just unlocks these hairstyles and makes them available for purchase via the shop in Create-A-Sim. They would not appear in your inventory as free items, they have to be purchased individually.
Go into create-a-sim > shop > click the scissors > hair and they should be there. You'll have to makeover a child to get the space puffs pigtails.
