However nice it is to be in winter themed locations- I am beyond livid with the lack of response, help and bug fixes.
Not only have you jumped to ignoring our bugs but have installed a more "spend more" atmosphere into the game. One that NO PLAYER wants or needs for that matter. Why would we spend more on a game that you are neglecting the basics of?
As a cash contributor to the game I'd expect the money I put in to be used in developing better content. Not used in turn to make more profit resulting in loss of players.
So to sum it all up
- you did not fix major bugs
- you added more content but not valuable content
- you did not compensate for the lack of professional help for A LOT of lost content for MANY players during the last event.
Does that sound fair to you? Does that sound like a game YOU would pay to play? It doesn't to me. This game had so much potential. It still can be amazing if you can make our voices heard and make that change.

Terrible, terrible update.
First EA ruined my Dance quest. Double llama zoom events to move on with the quest were just a joke. I was abroad WORKING and didn't have enough time to complete all that mess of a quest.
Then EA ruined my Harvest fest, I wasn't able to complete it with all the bugs. They kept adding cakes to my account as compensation. But I didn't need cakes to get more useless leaves, I needed to complete the quest without bugs and get the story!
Now this update is just a joke. I wonder if they are serious or what. To be able to change color of the clothes and items was one of the few good things.
The result will be for sure less people buying things, with game money and even more with real money.
I never and won't ever spend real money on this game. No way especially now after reading that they remove stuff that you buy with real money.
I changed my review on Play store from 5* to 1*, like all you guys. Cause this is just too gross.

@Mai653 let's hope they keep their promise this time and actually fix all the glitches. The event glitch, item glitch, child glitch (or bugs, that's all I know of.) And I hope they do this *before* the Christmas quest.

Honestly, their response sounds like a lot of backpedaling to me.IF EA had been listening to us in the first place, they probably wouldn’t have this cluster**** of a backlash that they do now, on Social media and the bad reviews on the app stores.
Nothing will I’ll be done until it hits them in the pocketbook JMHO

100% this is an “OH, now were screwed” tweet from their media dept in response to the #SimsNObile thats going viral across socials. Just type it into google and you’ll see what i mean. There is NO WAY that those prices etc were accidental, although they were honest with one thing in that tweet... it is definitely “NOT RIGHT”.
@ShaNoodle9 proved that they are lying with their ‘oops, Sorry!’ Attempt because, as mentioned, they were a part of the beta testing group and witnessed this exact change being planned. Mistake my * EA. That tweet is a flat out lie and yet another slap in the face to us, who you clearly believe to be to stupid to realise.
A complete rollback (as unlikely as that is) and a MAJOR fix to all of the glitches in the game may make it enjoyable again and entice me to return to a game i once spent so many hours escaping into, but until IF/when that actually happens (emphasis being on the IF), it will be staying in the cloud for me. Having said that, if i were to return, they wouldn’t get another cent of real money off me again, regardless of how awesome they spout about new deal being... á la -
‘Ooooh here’s 40% of these really expensive things! Here grab them now, because once we implement the new update and completely screw you over, you’re gonna need every simoleon, simcash and cupcake you can possibly get a hold off! Look at how generous we are to our loyal players!!’
I love how long it took... (How many pages of complaints to this update?) before we got any form of response from them. How’s that shot in the foot feeling EA?
Oh and dont forget to keep all of your complaints into the one thread please, because they simply cannot keep up with the overwhelming amount of all of them and it makes the game look really bad for any poor, uninformed new players joining, to see such an insane amount of complaints about the game.

Why don't we just give bad reviews in play store instead? Let everyone knows about this and just make EA bankrupt for good.. i paid some cash too and the sweet sweet revenge i want is for EA to bankrupt lol. I mean EA is well known for this kind of issues so it's not so surprising, the best thing we can do is just to ignore their products.

Well I appreciate the fact that you gave us all the missing items and I got 150 free simcash as well, as “compensation” I guess... and the prices of the different coloured items have reduced.. but I’m still upset at the fact that I have to dish out more for each and every colour.. is EA hoping that the hubbub would die down in time?
With the recent patch to fix this whole mess, EA said something like we’ve reduced the prices of items on the whole and now you can more easily buy individual colours.. but I mean, they must surely see that buying an item once and being able to change between several colours for free as much as I wanted was way better than what they are giving us now!! Isn’t that kinda obvious??
I don’t think they are planning to reverse this particular thing, from the looks of things. I recently spent a lot of money on their “huge holiday sale”, so I’m waiting to utilise my existing simcash on the x’mas update (whenever that is), and then probably stop playing..because I feel like I’m being taken advantage of. And I don’t like it one bit.
On a separate note, has anyone actually started doing the ice skating thing that came with the winter update?

@Jag1986xf I've seen no iceskatting ring. Only greed and glitches galore.
I'm not going to buy the cupcake bundle like I do each time I do a quest.

The harvest event quest was impossible to complete due to bugs and they said they would either give us the pumpkin spice lovers heirloom or that it would be in the heirloom shop both of which never happened. I am with you on this. It is obvious this game is mainly a money grab

Looks like the color thing is here to stay sadly. This is so annoying because u actually have a chance of getting less wreaths and lights if ur unlucky enough to just unlock colors. All I wanted to do, is cover my house with lights.
