Re: loot boxes, I don’t get motivated by them much at all. They are just super frustrating. I did, however, spend real $$ on the ASOS events because the goals and prizes were something I wanted and the outcome was clear (time crazy notwithstanding, but I could buy sim bucks to speed that up rather than just waste $ on potentially nothing). For the same reason lottery tickets aren’t even the least bit tempting to me irl.

I agree, Loot boxes don't motivate me, they make me irritated. I also spent on the ASOS event.
