The World of Luxury Event

Just curious as to what they might give us for the extra coins at the end of this event, wouldn't mind if they turned my extras into GEMS! 🙂  although TBH I'm kind of scared, seems to me that the day I was informed that my extra ASOS event coins were to be converted was the same day I decided to delete Izzy items, so I have no idea which crashed my game, so I'm nervous to see what will happen to my game at the end of this even ☹️  

This is what I'm thinking, I may run through it on another account, just to see what happens.  My main account seems to have some bug and the only way to fix it is to roll it back, and I will lose a few events worth of progress, although since this happened I have been using a different account and have at least gotten the newest event!.  So we'll see what happens at the end.

I got my reward for open the box too early sigh.. i'm planning to save my coin for last day but cant resist to open the box T_T

got 1 rare - lovish seat (its duplicate T_T that replaced with 10 fashion gem, so the price for couch is 50 simcash? if you can buy 45 fashion gem for 225 simcash, then 10 fashion gem = 50 simcash right?)

got 2 rare - super heirloom ticket (sigh again, total 10 blue ticket and i really cant use it, its rare my gosh.. why didnt gimme that bubble machine or lantern T_T)

got 6 common (mirror, pants and clothing that converted to something that we knew very well, i dont want write the things anymore T_T)

got 1 uncommon - heirloom ticket (10 greenie heirloom ticket that cant be used too T_T, come on better get simcash or fashion gem than this one) 

But i am curious about other rare item, how many fashion gem you get if you have more bubble machine and lantern? are they same with the couch? converted into 10 fashion gem or not? i\m curious the prices of the item if converted to simcash..

@SimKitkatz When I got the 3rd Bubbler it converted to 10 fashion gems. 😊☺

@PaQuilter1oh okay thanks, so its same.. but you're so lucky.. its so hard to get one bubble machine but you have 3... So did ea reduce the amount of rewards if you got rare item? 

I see on simsvip blog that if you got rare item, the item will be converted into 20 fashion gem and simmoleons.. why now only 10 fashion gem..

@SimKitkatz I honestly don't know. The only reason I remember is because I thought Wow now that's different. I was actually expecting the usual green tickets. I hope you get the bubbler. I have 2 and would gladly give you one because of the item limit, I can't use the second one anyway.  I had to use SIM Cash though to get the first one. 😊

I was really loving this event, but after receiving so many duplicates and only getting Sim and house tickets, I've had it. I have blown $30+ and not gotten a single bubble blower. 😣 I have really tried to keep a good attitude. *sigh* I have also put in many hours and still 99% of my boxes only give me duplicates. The "drop" rate has to be seriously skewed or, maybe, I am just extremely unlucky. 😢

Finally got the 1700 coins today. I started the last quest on Monday or Tuesday and I have roughly four days left until the event ends.  Now I can get some much needed rest. :eahigh_file:  I have 1,721 coins total. Overall, I liked this event. I feel like it was eaiser to get coins in this event rather than the asos event. Maybe thats because this event has lootboxes or maybe we were rewarded more coins for each task. I feel like we got a increased reward in coins anyway (which I'm definitly not complaining about!). I'm still going to participate in the event while it lasts but I definitely won't be staying up so late. 

I spent as many coins as I could before the last quest in this event. This is what I had:

2 bubble blowers

0 loveseats   

0 hanging lanterns

2 sim cashes (I think)

1 rug

1 male shirt

0 female shirt

1 divider

1 female pants

2 plush poufs

1 bracelet

max  mirrors

4 hanging lanterns

5 sim cash bundles

A lot of green tickets

1000 simoleons

So the only thing I'm missing is the love seat. Which isn't too bad I guess.

I finally finished the quest and have at least one of everything except that darn bubble blower & a tank top. 😢 Here's how I've decorated so far!

@Tiffany562411 I had the same problem. I took everything that was near the bubble blower out of the room, then put the pouf cushions back around it and had all 4 Sims use it. Then I started putting the things back into the room, one at a time. It turns out that there has to be at least one space around each seat for all 4 Sims to use it. I had to redesign the entire room. Try it and see if that works for you too. 😊☺

I have a fairly large space around mine and have no problems

@VintageStarlette Thank you! I'm sure you'll be able to finish the quest in no time! 

@sincerelyval I did spend the 1700 in one go. I'm not sure if I'll do the same before the event ends or buy a few boxes per day during the remainder of the event. I love the layout of your house, especially your kitchen. I plan on giving my house a makeover when I clear more land.
