Unable to call sims from town benches

Product: The Sims Mobile
Platform:Apple iPad
List the specific devices you play with (e.g. iPhone 6s Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7) iPad 6th gen
OS Version 14.7.1
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Call NPCs and Friends’ sims to town benches
What do you expect to see? I want to call sims to town benches 100% of the time
Connection Type Wifi

After latest update(29.0.0), calling NPCs or friends' sims to town benches became difficult. Sims in the same area will come quickly, but sims in other areas don't come even if I call them over 10 times and wait for many minutes.

Maybe there is a limit of number of sims in one area? If any one leaves the area, at that moment the sim I was calling for appears on the bench. But it was not like that before update.

It's not a serious bug, but annoying to not be able to call sims until someone leaves the area on a whim…

    @gogotamago5 Yes, there's actually a limit on how many sims can be in a given area. So a sim may take a long time to come to the place until a sim exits the place and creates a space for another one to come. You can also verify this as sometimes you cannot call a sim to a different area when there's a popup that says "too many sims in the area"

    I noticed this in my game too. The town areas aren’t visibly any fuller than before but the NPC I called to  Parkside and Waterfront with the bench came over to the area after I closed and reopened my game. 

    (@gogotamago5 and I were thinking that there’s an underground party in town. 😄 Which might be half true at least for me since I know the STS chefs and Wumples are stored somewhere and I bet Yamachan and Nalani are at the same place.)

    @Ilois4 😂 the NPC population grows with each festival, so Patty & Co. are hosting for sure some amazing underground parties.
    I know this is a bug report, but I couldn't resist adding this non-bug-related comment.

    @SalixCat And we’re not invited to the party 😜 Hopefully at some point we can remove senior citizens. 🧟‍♀️

    @GhostFreeek Thank you! 🙏 But this has never happened before the latest update. Sure, Nalani was added to my town this festival, but the town benches didn't work well even before I purchased the festival pass…

     

    @Ilois4 @SalixCat Yes, we believe NPCs are getting together in a secret underground party! 😂

     

    Calling sims to different areas to take pictures and create stories is one of the things I enjoy about this game. There are other more serious bugs, so I'm not asking for it to be fixed soon, but it would be nice if it could be fixed in some way 😊🙏

    I did a relationship event yesterday with a passive sim at the restaurant and at some point when I came back to the game the passive sim was back home and didn’t come to the restaurant with the event actions. 

    Now I started STS rerun and Patty and the rival aren’t showing up at Parkside. I did 3 challenges and I got the chefs to show up in the second one by closing and restarting the game in the middle of the challenge.
