Unlinking my account

I’ve had a major issue with my game since 18th July making it unplayable. I have finally been told to unlink my account ready for a reset. I have been told not to reply to my case so can’t ask that way. I’m only linked to game centre and there is no obvious way to unlink. Help! How do I unlink my game centre account?
