User error or bug? No event are working

Hello, I'am new at The Sims Mobile. I'am having a little trouble playing the game. I don't know if it a bug or user error. I have tried to get my sim to do different events. Like work, hangout with a friend, and even the Sweet treat event. I can't get any of the them to work. I made sure my Sim has enough energy. Can anyone help?

    Could you please share screenshots that show what happens when you try to get your Sims to do events?

    Do you get a message telling they are busy?

    Screenshot would show nothing. Cause nothing changes. I click on the event to start the sim moves the event, but it doesn't start. There are no messages or anything telling me they are busy.
