What is a utility bill?

I went onto sims and this was the first thing that came up, i’ve never heard of a utility bill before and didn’t see that i could “pay” it anywhere.. is this a glitch?? or am i just missing out on something?

Ahhh, technically correct, but doesn't really answer the question.

I think the devs have just inserted a bunch of amusing notifications, to keep the game Interesting and fun! 😂

The amount a household or office is expected to pay for electricity, water and/or gas each month. Utility bills vary according to one's usage.
