why cant i download the sims mobile.

i have an iPod with ios 9 and it says you need ios 9 and up so i should be able to get it right... well i cant and its not storage every time i try to get it, it wont let me please help i would like ...

iPod touch (5th generation 16 GB, Mid 2013. i know it my be a bit old but it works great. and iPhone 5 works with the sims mobile so why cant mine.
