End of the WC, and Wrath 17?

Im not play in the WCS but my acc was there and I see how the worlds go with high advantage for mult acc players and in pvp mult exploit made the diference... in W17 HQshopkey and his players with mults has a lot advantage aswell.. so now the new meta game is enter in the new world with yours mult or you loose thats it?!
  • It seems that may be the case with many players, or you can join to have fun!
  • players with mults acc have a lot advantage if they purchase Funds only unless they are useless :-) . You can do same with them .
    Other points ,if they join world with mults strong allainces , like Nvidia , DarkLegion , Dweep, Marasu..their ProblemChild team will have many trouble ...You can gather your strong allies to war with them :-)

  • I think you are wasting your time even talking about it scaremonster. I believe this game is dead, hardly a word from developers, new posts in forum rare, and the multiaccounts you mention also all get the advantage of massive fund discounts on day 1 for new accounts.. so inexpensive to load them up with funds.
  • I agree with lordo maybe cncta is dead... even if your fair ally are stronger multi exploit pvp crush you lol
  • Let me point out the ugly truth. Each one of those crazy multi players spends a coupe hundred a month. Thats a couple THOUSAND a year. Most of the server is made up of casual players who at best spend 5 bucks a month. These cheats keep the lights on.

    But with that said, the problem with alts is, even with out it. These are TOP players. 99% of players would not be able to do what they did even if they had alt accounts and unlimited time. Hence why its in the grey area.

    The greater issue since ive focused on other games is this games very old. New games like Duelyst, hearthstone, SFV, Dota2, that are popular in mainstream competitive E-sport play have comeback mechanics. its designed so in the event one player/Team gains a overly strong advantage, Players by being organized, skilled and with a bit of luck can do some action that bring them with in striking distance of victory. In old games like this, you have situations where players achieve "god mode". You become so powerful its game breaking. Because once you get a running lead, its over. If you can grow big enough you can take out whole alliances alone.

    Unfortunately, they would need to come out with a TIB Alliances 2 to be able to fix it because there would be some dramatic changes to the game play mechanics.

    With all that being said, this WCS has been very good. All sides did a very good job and its been very fun to watch. Its not getting the credit it deserves. The cic's there have used exellent strategy and all the teams have taken massive loses and bounced back. I think the few lock down accounts and the early game multi's shouldnt take away from the performance this year.

    This game has one (extremely ugly) comeback mechanic: lockdown. (as well as persistence and strong will to win). On tib 18 bloody9 and a few more players were in god mode: they could 1-shot everybody on the server for 0 repair time. It took a taxi under lockdown 90+ attacks to get through each of their defenses. But you guys managed to beat them. So here is the paradox.
    On the one hand, there is general agreement now that lockdown is killing the game and should be fixed somehow. At the same time, it's the only comeback mechanic that the game has.

    p.s. and judging by wcs experience, the new relocation rules are another major comeback mechanic that makes the game endless as once you die and get completely wiped out, you can just relocate into the same position with bonuses and bubble protection, ready to attack.

    given that it's not just a couple bases, but a whole alliance that's so much stronger, i think there isn't much you can do, apart from diplomacy
