I don't think is a mistake, but as always in the past, a lack information between developers and gamers. @gamerdruid you are not a developer, and may not have all info, but the word level is a basic info that you should get. In that case you also should be mad at developers.
Anyway, this is a level 80 word, but that’s not all the info. It is a new version of level 80 word, that was tested this year on PTE. And it's back from 23 december. That requires elaboration, because this is a first regular world with this development setup, not everybody is on PTE to follow the process.
To compare it with previous generation lvl 80 world, the changes are.
Actually compering current PTE and Firestorm 17 it looks like F17 have big disadvantage.
The base level is increasing more rapidly than on PTE, just look at the rings 41v48 and without PTE “bonus” it will be a long server.

- Tunnel exits are up to 81 not 62.
- POI levels are up to 80 not 62.
- Guardian bases are lvl 80 not 65.
- Regular FB are up to 75 not 62.
- And the fortress most likely will be starting at 110 lvl not 95 lvl.
