Me too.
I'm done
As in done playing.
It seems like the goal is, and forgive me for being harsh in this post but the threat of restricting players and the resurrecting of the old forums as an attack on the community?
Now hear me out....
All this has happened several times in the past and was even described as "the nuclear option" by mods at one time. I don't understand the motivation once again for any of this.
So I just assume call it quits.

The closing of the Vanilla forums and move to AHQ was a step to getting all EA games on the software base for forums. Other games moved too. The move to new forums from AHQ is the next step, one planned for all EA games eventually once the bugs are found by keen users of the forums. I don't understand how this is a threat, can you explain?
Restricting players! In what way are players being restricted?
Yes, EA are re-interpreting their own rules which have always banned multi-accounting (or alts) by actually acting upon their rules and enforcing them. Long term players have always known that multiple accounts were 'not allowed' and also that at any time the rule could be enforced. Multiple accounts by one player has been tolerated when they were simply used to play both NOD and GDI on the same world but what we see now is whole alliances made up of multi-account alts used to subvert the playing of the game by others.- 6 months ago

Ok.
And i'm adding the general trend of the internet culture overall.....
The way people flock to a cause because of the potential for toxic interaction?
Then....any steps to fix that causes participation steadily decline?
Here there are fast playing folks who spend big. It's just how they play. But this game was at it's most popular when people associated their participation with hurting any effort to challenge the top winners by using toxic methods.
Every time policy was enacted to fix this participation declined.
I just feel like I've done all I can where the only option is funding to race for a badge or play solo/small alliance while rejecting toxicity thus any social interaction outside those options.
So I' m wheels up.
Taking what I've learned to apply elsewhere.

I'm with b97.
Time to move on.
You take away the bullying from the game and only then does participation drop way off?
Chat is quiet and there is one main group playing who just recycled alliance names the last opposition to them left there is only the real angry of them left who knows they have no chance of badging but seem to be there just to attack anyone near who does not play like them.
All good it's a strategic war game but frothing at the mouth and attacking anyone near instead of building new friendships and strategies is obviously not working. Unless that is the point which is what I actually suspect.
But just the same. There is a lot to take from this, on the way to new experiences .....

I've thought thus through even further.
As it was said there is plenty of game unexplored in on this platform.
So if anyone is interested in playing......contact me through this portal.
So I will looking for like minds if there are no attempts know I am friendless out there.
No worries just the same.
