- No, the layout changes only when it is used to create a player base. This is true for camps, outposts and forgotten bases. Player layer layouts cannot be used at any time.
- Thanks, didn't it would have changed
- ". . . the layout changes only when it is used to create a player base." Umm, that is not my experience. I think the layouts change every time a FB or a Camp or an Outpost respawns. Players have to plant one of their bases on the spot of a good layout to prevent respawning in order to hold a layout until they are ready to drop a new base on it. I have a garbage layout because I killed a FB and merely put a marker on the spot to hold it until I was ready to drop a new base on it. But, before I could do this, the spot respawned a new FB and when I killed it and dropped a new base on the spot without checking its layout, I got a garbage layout. (And, no, I did not drop my new base on the wrong spot.) I have not checked this with Camps and Outposts, but expect the same to hold true. But, maybe this happens only with FBs. Or, maybe only if the FB, Camp, or Outpost is killed and then respawns. Or maybe only if it disappears w/o being killed and then respawns. Or, maybe . . .
- I've just checked my statement as far as I can, the camps and outposts do not change. FB should not change, but I can't check this.
- They layout stays the same until a new player base is found on it. If you get a different layout when you find your new base on a reserved spot it means another player has found his own base there without telling you and moved away already.
Because of that you should always double check or block your layout good as possible.
