Envision Entertainment has no handle on any of the payment or pricing matters, that is the sole domain of Electronic Arts. We simply forwarded this loophole to our contacts at EA when we became aware of that and EA acted upon this.
We don't know exactly how long this has been exploited in the past.
Now the question remains, why did you do this? Does this make your life easier?
