A new faction hasn't been released - but in the years I've been playing there have been a lot of changes. The introduction of a new economy, malus, of forgotten attacks and upgrades to the units. Others who have played longer have seen the introduction of the fortress and hubs.
We've seen the introduction of Veteran worlds, Firestorm special worlds, WCS worlds and changes to balance have taken place in the time I've been playing the browser game.
Whilst prices have increased over the years, the price of everything has gone up. It was around £25 when I started, now can be had at £30 to £35. Much in line with UK inflation i suspect over the period I've played.
