I was only once invited to their Teamspeak server, not many times, this was unprecedented.
I'm with the Tiberian Alliance team since 2018 and I was alerted to this somewhen last year. It's possible that players exploited this for a longer time, that does not mean we are necessarily aware of it. Envision does not deal with the monetization of the game, normally. We have been made aware of this through players.
We told EA about this fact because that's part of the business, how they would respond is was up to them and not really communicated to us in advance. I don't necessarily think its a good change to cut out so many local currencies from their billing options in favor of USD, but that's ultimately their call.
