its any chance to fix a Kodiac upgrade to get protection on AIR units as well???its not fari when sallamanders restore HP to full evry hit and cobras use a shields farming going so easly....but with GDI you cannot use AIR tactic becouse Kodiac NOT giving shield for air u nits( i think should give shield to evry units)with fixing that Kodiacs upgrades farming and playing as GDI will be more fair to easy NOD fraction...looking into arsenal in a game i see GDI is more weaker with units than NOD

jbl3ck i think you got some right but the case be not about zone troopers or using a units but about a upgrades.... if you are a NOD player that you deffinitly know that farming for NOD with Cobras +shields and sallamanders+drainHP give you a HIUGE advantage with RT... GDI not have that option and i know GDI got a diffrent units that farming looks diffrent but upgrades for NOD fraction deffinitly are to strong.....you not have an option like cobra + sallamander in state of GDI fraction... ofcourse you can still find easy farm post for GDI as well but in case of long farming NOD going faster and can farm more efficiently...maybe its a chance to get look by someone to think about that.....in my opinion shield should be on evry units not only a ground.... its maybe will be able then farmi simillar to NOD when you will use ORCA+Kodiac that will be a fair i think

i have asked for gdi to have better unit upgrades a few times in the forum , but this Kodiak to extend the shields to air units sounds amazing if it possible to do it be sure to add some type of multiplier to the hit points of shield. when the attack is launched with entire Kodiak army for example three Kodiak in a line the middle one should have 3x times the protection.. right?? its own and one from each side .. that used correctly would definitely close the gap between the factions unit upgrades..... enough to shut me up . anyway

Moderators have no knowledge about internal discussions or investigations. Don't expect any developments to be done quickly and expect to see them tested on an existing PTE (not necessarily the current one) before general release. My guess is as good as yours as to how long all this would take, mid 2022 seems a reasonable target if it is to be developed and fully internally tested.

It's unlikely anything will change with regard to existing units. It's generally accepted that GDI is weaker in some respects than NOD and has been since there was two types of base to play.

If all offensive units are the same from base to base then the forgotten defense will anticipate.
So in my opinion a commander can develop a strategy to make them prepare for any attack that you want them to.
At higher levels or on certain servers though it may be more difficult since they have the resources to balance their defense.

A unit so specialized with good anti air defense?
Air units tend to be weak against anti air while devastating for their specializations.
Imagine the mammoths then prioritizing air units first. It would be a different game.

Hi EE_Elephterion after 2 years somethink change to this point....? as we all know now the TA will be one STEAM platform.... maybe its good time to have a look at mechanic of the game ( upgrades of units, power of shields or power of upgraded units also) there be lots of topics with nice ideas how to balance both fractions GDI and NOD on farming possition.... i still to this time see NOD cobras shields and salamanders drain used for farming with 0:00RT , when whoever play GDi need spend 1h or 2h....... dunnow who look after this game but hope finaly someone will do somethink!! to balance this old cool game..... there is lots of idea what can be easly change to balance RT what are unfair for people who play as GDi....
the secound think Nothink still change to the Arsenal option in game ..... information there are old and not say true about stats and dmg what units do to units....
come on its a game from EA how you can take so much money from funds and still not do nothink....
