maintenance

For maintenance the server would be of linefor a period of 60 to 90 minutes.
Unfortunately this was for a period of 3.5 hours
How could this happen and are there any compensations especially for the lack of CP and energy?

As it is a pre-arranged downtime, there is unlikely to be compensation. As for it taking longer than planned, these things happen. I'm sure you'd rather have it done right than quickly and not work!
