Isn't it possible to lower a unit's minimum level to 0.5 or 0.1, instead of level 1 ? It would be helpful if you wanted to trigger certain units. It would be a great help and a nice learning experience for many of us. I've been playing Tiberium Alliances since it first saw the light of day (a different account), and I'm still learning every day.

The loss from a level 1 unit is so low that I don't see the advantage. As the opponent levels increase a distraction unit becomes relatively simple to implement. Can you explain the advantage ?
the lower the level the less damage it will inflict. as a decoy that is great. i have achieved it by finding a way to damage my unit on a camp 1st and do not let it heal. the damaged troop does less damage. seems as if at half health it does the damage of unit half its level. it is a pain to do it and maintain, but it does the trick when necessary
as an example i used a rocket buggy at 1% health to attack barbed wire 1 level lower did only 5% damage total
it is on the PTE so levels start at 30 right now
