Chad, you've only been complaining about the same thing for years yet I've never actually seen you play in any servers. When will you get over it? But I'll reply to you for this one time. Project has been dead since WCS. The culmination of alliances you see now is the same impact that was pre-project. In any facet that you have "teams" you will ALWAYS have people who migrate towards like-minded players. Do you watch professional sports? Do you see Lebron in the NBA creating superteams? What about the Yankees in baseball? Even in other games on other platforms, think as simple as Rocket League. If you follow anything sports related you know that players want to play for "contenders" because winning championships are fun. It's not a secret that some people are more competitive than others and want to play with similar skilled players. and I think the same applies to gaming which is why we have started seeing the evolution of e-sports.
Before project, it was the germans that ran the game for most of it's history. Project was literally created for the sole purpose of finding top players from 10+ alliances (hence the name project) to try and finally debunk the GOATs. It didn't happen in the fashion anyone would have liked, but mission achieved and now project has died. This idealization that because players from project prefer non-morale FA worlds is somehow our fault (I say our, as a project player playing with a handful of others) is laughable. Literally 95% of the "top" project players haven't even played since WCS so I find your complaining to be comical. I would hate to see how you face adversity in real life considering it sounds like you just want any player who has played for project to stop playing. Like you, I personally have a preference in a world type. It just so happens that I like non-morale FA worlds. So of course I would play those before anything else. I have made friendships and bonds with many of the same players since we have played on the same worlds (either together or as adversaries) for much of my 8 years on this game.
Side note, I can tell you from my experience in this game that ever since there was a nerf to PVP, almost every server I've played commanders from all top alliances would rather find a solution diplomatically then go to PVP because most top alliances have heavily funded users and the only ones that win during pvp is EA since the cost of PVP is astronomical. Mergers avoid PVP which means a world can be won faster = less funds used.
I'll add that a lot of new players often check the forums to see if a game is active, or if it's something they would enjoy based on player feedback. The fact you find a way to complain in almost every thread is just as likely to push new players away then it is to join a server that is won before it's started. Take some accountability and stop whining. If I was a a mod or admin, I would have silenced/muted you because the amount of complaining you do is detrimental to the game.
Also, I probably won't bother to read your reply. But I hope you enjoyed this read and consider some self-evaluation and awareness.
Cheers,
