Maybe just one new world without funding , no extra cp , no extra rt.
Would be hard for alot of players and easy for other that never buy funds.
I'm happy for the creation of such a world but people will always find something else to moan about, such as multi-accounting or too many members of a certain group or whatever. "gamerdruid;c-2192544" wrote:
I don't disagree with you but... EA have set the funding model and no-one reading this will be able to change it. As far as I know, about the only thing the developers can't change about the game is the funding model.
Envision actually set the initial funding model. When their relationship with EA became fully vested, EA killed all "bonus seasons" and increased the amount of funds purchased per dollar permanently. Today, it will most likely remain forever unchanged. $3/mo USD buys 200cp and 2D RT, which allows nearly anyone to become a top contributor on any world."xxsly;c-2192527" wrote:
You know what would be really interesting? If a veteran world had a signup cost. Hear me out.
It's reasonably well known that most veteran players buy the command point and repair time caps. In fact, after playing a few words and beating the fortress once, I'd be inclined to say that they are necessary.
After asking around the few times I've played, the general consensus seems to be the monthly cp increase of 200cp (899TA) and +48 hours repair time (2299). For games lasting 6 months and 12 months, the capacity costs would be ~$25 (19188 TA) and ~$50 (38376 TA)
So instead of having a funding model for a veteran server where people are going to buy the caps anyway, why not have an upfront cost, removing the ability to buy extra caps and packages but putting everyone on an even playing field.
I dare say 99% of the leeches (and drama) would be eliminated if EA agreed to a pay-to-play system. Buy the minimum monthly or remove access to your account, period."Auckland105;c-2194179" wrote:
Why there are no more new worlds?
Read the thread.- We are waiting for the new world, when will it be?
- Until it is announced you won't know! Read the thread!!
- Is it possible to get an answer from a person in charge?
Nobody is interested in "standard-answers" from @gamerdruid and co.! By the way: everybody is able to read the thread - believe it!!!!! - A new world will be launched when we are ready :)
Thats all I can say right now. "Neuseeland654321;c-2194295" wrote:

I'm sorry for your attitude, it helps no-one! Everyone is 'able' to read the thread but by the questions asked not everyone has read and comprehended the contents. As for the 'standard answers' they the only ones that are available until a new world is announced. As @EE_Elephterion has said, when they're ready they will announce one.- > @EE_Elephterion said:

Ok - thx
But please let us know what „when we are ready“ means. What are you doing that you can´t open new worlds. "Neuseeland654321;c-2194331" wrote:

They are working on higher priority items and will get around to it when they can. New worlds open every two months on average.
