its not AWS or Azure because they know how to do things properly, they should spend our money to move this amateur tin can set up to the cloud providers. I know for a fact that taking a service down for 24 hours over a period of 2 weeks is unacceptable, even for maintenance. Its not even a debate.

I don't know what system is used AWS, Azure or other but it is EA's responsibility to make those decisions not EE's.

The maintenance was not a game update in any way, it was work on the physical hardware. It wasn't EE's decision when or their responsibility to carry it out. The servers themselves are located in the UK, or were when I was last told.
