Unique lay outs ?

Hi all

we have an issue about an lay out

Where it seems someone took the lay out he say he did not and took it on an other spot nearby

So i wonder is it possible that 2 lay outs are exact tthe same in the same sector and close to eachother

I thought it was unique in an sector at least

  • Theoretically you can get two the same as I understand they are randomly generated within a series of parameters.  It is highly likely that two adjecent ones would be the same.

he somehow managed to get exactly the same layout but in a different co-rd in nearby,  I don't think so.

Either the original guy got the co-ordinates wrong when he reserved -  or the guy that took the lay is lying.

The main question for me is whether the original layout is still there,  if its not then 100% that guy has stolen it lol  - proceed to kick him out of the alliance.

@tokenting You are of course correct.  The liklihood of two identical layouts is very small.  Once a layout has been used a new random one is used in that location, until it in turn is used.  It wil be different and probably  not even similar to the previous one.
