This is caused by non-secure elements being loaded as I understand things. But the technical details are for @EE_Elephterion

And the best, who was in the game, could shoot others. Anyone who was alerted could not enter the game to defend themselves. Class EA, i look forward to the day when i have fulfilled my promise and finally leave this game.Such mishaps must not happen at a reputable provider! Either you put everything offline during the repair or better servers are available.

there are only working noobs with ea, everytime the servers went down on weekend, no one from EA is there to do anythiing, but importent is, that the fucking money runs for them. Typical for the managment from EA, they do it since years and lauthing about us stupid player.

The problem wasn't confined to one world or even just this game. It was an EA wide problem that affected all their games. Those players lucky enough to leave a machine online were able to continue playing without interruption, but those that switch off their machines or use them for other purposes and log out of the game were unable to re-log in.

It was precisely EA's authentication system that wasn't working so it has everything to do with EA, Why it wasn't working has to some extent been answered by @EE_Elephterion - something outside of EA's control.
