Idk how to do a quote but this was stated
or you can use at the start (minus the spaces) and at the end. (and pasting the quoted text inside of course!)
b4: "Some players have had poor grasp of computer systems and grew lazy in logging and haven't been able to get into the game because they forgot the username/password combinations they used that had been stored for them."s this a justified reason to change the login system? & does that constitute a good reason for loyal, hardworking, dare I say Paying players to lose their accts? I'm not justifying loss of login creds but at least we should get a warning or something prior to institution? I have even forgotten my own personal acct log passwords & even emails due to relying on subs for so long to reduce constant login, logouts - it's just convenient, logical & efficient.I don't know that it is (or isn't) a good reason as far as EA is concerned as they haven't shared the reasoning with me (or many others it seems). Why now, I've no idea and it seems no-one else does either.
I would like to review the specifics of the ToS. Anyway, I'm not arguing, I'm just trying to understand so we know what we're dealing w/. The question is why the change & why now? It's diff't when you are an active player vs. someone who isn't active or has never played & even more diff't when you have multiple accts in whichever form that may be, but yet even more drastically diff't when you factor multiple servers which most of us have & I would say EA likes & even encourages. In other words, convenience would be an important factor for EA to include in it's all-around design of the game.Subs should still be working, no new login required if the sub hasn't been cancelled.
But let me back up. When you say 'transfer' that sounds more like a sub than 'give full acct' to someone. And no way can EA or anyone else block sub or choice of. We would be true **** to sign over all our rights of our personal virtual property, esp. a paid for (funded) acct, due to a biased ToS designed only to protect EA & not the player. But I see what you're saying about 'controlling player' & setting the security secrets of an acct & you are right, that is true. Thanks
