which obviously ignores my filter setting and is just stupid as it filters out alliances names, names the game allows the alliances to have.
Filter is level 9 stupid on chat, this elevates it to 10 out of 10 stupidity.
can't even use feb as short for february as it is being censored lol. So my mistake, the stupidity of this filter is 12 out of 10.
In german we have the same issue, "bitte" is going to "b####" and "ich bin" is going to "ich b##". It is a challenge to write friendly mails now 🤣
Maybe one should leave the chat filter on to know what words are being blocked. One such example is analyze, just because of the first 4 letters. One can overcome this by leaving spaces in-between the words to try and circumvent the filter. In C&c Rivals for example, the chat filter there is on by default and there's no way to turn it off. Too much words filtered out an the entire sentence you typed gets blanked.
Another way to circumvent this is to intentional do wrong spellings so the filter doesn't catch it. With the analyze word, type is as enalyze or anelyze... the filter is just simply that dumb to begin with. As it can't even filter words that are used in a bad context or part of a larger word.
a+l-l t.ha.t y o u s^a^i_d is that the feel*ter is idiotik. But if this the way that things have to be written now, maybe EA can just shut down the mail system.

* "geek" (i was refferring to myself as one when i tried to use it... if someone needs this info)
