cant login - problems on 4 May 2018

I've lost three accounts to this "login" change, I've been playing for over four years and have changed email addresses and no longer have access to them. Would have been nice to at least give people a heads up about the coming changes and suggest that people might update emails/passwords. You are able to make this change without proper thought, why can't you undo it for say two weeks and give people a chance to update their accounts. I've been trying to sort this out for over a week, have sent off messages to EA (WITH NO REPLY) explaining the circumstances, but nothing, this is not the way to run a game.
