Loading Time Very Long (Time Out)

Just loading into the launch screen takes unusually long. Almost 30 seconds. Then when I get past that and load the actual world ( now that my world location has been restored) the screen times out, so for the last 3 days I haven't been able to play. All I manage to do is get to the launch screen and to these forums. All working fine but....... wish everything else was.
