I understand that the markers in the game are a "visual aid" for our team, neither facilitate nor withdraw rights in the game.
The markers of your alliance are only visible to your alliance so it is possible to mark a territory as yours but a player from another alliance can take the space with the same right as you.
And this works the same for all alliances, it has not been established to harm a single player.
