i'm still getting this is not a secure connection. is my pc at risk, what is wrong with the connection. is their another connection i should be using?

Some of the images used in the game are loaded from a non-https location, hence your browser/AV giving the warning. In my opinion it is safe to continue playing the game, although I do wish EA would do 'the right thing' and use servers that don't throw up these warning.
