Ah, so its a track pad not a tablet. Anyway, I have been looking around, there used to be a setting that allows you to disable the pinch zoom gesture on Chrome,but I can't find the option for that anymore.
Apparently disabling the pinch-zoom was removed from the settings in Chrome and you can only deactivated touch events altogether now.
Maybe another user has some more help.
