replacement request

I'm having a problem.

I can't accept a replacement request.

A message appears saying that the account to be replaced is inactive, but I know it's active.

This is happening to several members of our Alliance.

Help??

I'm aware of the problem as are the developers.  It seems it is related to EA enforcing their long standing policy of accounts which show minimum activity.  The account may have been active via subs on a world but unless it is directly logged in by the owner then it will show inactive on EA's system.  This is my understanding of the issue.

  • with all due respect , and glad you are aware , and sorry if i sound harsh , but i have been active 3 or 4 times a day .. every day .. for the last 3 or 4 years since i opened the account. There is no way that i have minimum activity .

what it does mean , is i m and the many others who have the same problem , can not sub any old world i play in out to another player , and more importantly .. i can not sub my most recent and most active world  to any one else if i need a day or 2 off , where many others can , a great annoying frustrating disadvantage , to which we never get a fix , just told that " we are aware ". It has been going on a long time .. and there are various different posts in the forum all about the same issue

as said , respect druid for answering the post , it does help seeing replies . Thank You . But which tree do you need to shake to get this cured i wonder , or is there no cure because EA couldn't give a **bleep** about a small number of players experiencing the same problem

the only thing possible is an old sub from one of my 10 worlds  being inactive .. i don't know ..  but now .. i am going to log into every world i have ever played , then try to send a sub again ... ill update this post after i have logged in every world and tried to send a sub again

thank you for your reply druid ..

  • ok .. update ..  i have now logged into every world i played on here , repaired all bases , and attacked and  upgraded on every world

sent my sub request in my main active world .. but no .. to my sub it shows me as inactive

its a very competitive game , if your offline a while you loose resources in production , especially if your base is damaged

there are many players who this happens to , its like disabling some players and making them fight with 1 arm tied behind their backs

Respect druid for your involvement , could you post a site or link that we can mail ea on , because it is truly disadvantaging many players

    again ...  what happens .

player A sends sub request to player B

player B receives request and accepts .. notification received in mail of acceptance by player A

player B tries logging into the sub .. but it says " the account  is inactive " unable to log in

when tried and player A is online , and player B tries logging in ..  it kicks player A out because of sub logging in , even though the sub never manages to connect , so there is some connection going on .. just not completing the loop with the sub logging in

player A logs in again .. and it says you have an active substitute .. do you want to end the substitution

respect to all ...  hope someday this is sorted .. don't mean to moan , but it is a problem disadvantaging  many players
