Technical Issues with Chrome Version 69.0.3497.81 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Unfortunately I've done all the mitigating things to make it work on the previous version, such as the turning of animations in game and turning off the hardware acceleration. So although Chrome has updated I'd already stopped having the issues related to Chrome. I still have very slow loading, often pausing at OriginGameServices when looking at the network report in the console after pressing F12
