Use of TS

I am familiar with Discord and TeamSpeak but I have a config issue when installing it. Never the less I wish only to clarify the comments made by other players that wish to meet on TS in game. Am I making the correct assumption that they are referring to TeamSpeak when they use the acronym TS? If so TeamSpeak asks for a link to connect. Is there a generic landing page for TS? Much like Discord where you would create private chat rooms. Thanks for the advice.

    I've limited experience with Teamspeak, but my understanding is that one of the team host it on an IP address that they share with everyone. And yes, TS is used as a generic term for TeamSpeak.

    My fellow players in my alliance often speak about join in a chat on TS.
    I would also like to join but I am not sure if that was what they are talking about and did not wish to look to out dated and ask them what they were referring to. we have many players from UK, Germany, Italy in our timezone.

    In an international alliance, deciding which language to speak can be an issue. Whilst many are confident in writing in English, they're not always as confident to speak it. (Although in my experience, non-native speakers of English usually do very well, certainly better than my German, Italian or Spanish!)
