Morale and Forgotten Attacks

I believe this discussion was started before, but I don't know if it was me or by another user named EinarThePillager. I have come to post my findings about Morale and ask questions about both if they are applied on the same world.

I've noticed how morale works, it shows up in simulations. Moral applies a range of values for the resources you will receive from the combat. In the simulation, if the best result was 30K RP, it may dip to 28K on your attack if the Moral Malus is high enough. With a high level difference, moral impacts our units more severely, making it hard to attack targets more than 4 levels higher than our offense level. Once the morale is gone, the simulation is always consistent, no matter how many times I refresh it.

My question is, are Forgotten Attacks in any way affected by Morale when either your defense or the raiding Forgotten have a higher level compared to the other? Can the Forgotten get a Moral malus if they're too weak, or our own defense if they're under leveled? I've heard that these settings usually are not applied to the same world.

  • Morale Malus values only apply on worlds where they're named as applying so on Forgotten attack worlds they don't apply except on the rare worlds where both Morale Malus and Forgotten attacks are named.

As far as I'm aware, the forgotten don't have the Morale malus applied against them on any worlds.
