Brain surgeon challenge

I am dooming titans over and over and not getting credit for it in the challenges. I see "doomed titan" at the bottom of the screen and still get no credit for it in the challenges. Please help. I need to get credit for what I do in the game or I cant advance. Thanks for your time.
