EA_ANDY:
i am playing the PC version of titanfall.
since i have probs with both titanfall and titanfall2, i will be reformatting my sys drive, and reinstalling windows10. ive done this before so its no big deal.
all important docs are kept on a separate volume.
a brief history with my probs with both titanfall games:
- orig titanfall: original titanfall worked on my machine until late sept. that is when i started getting the failed to receive token from Origin error. i had been in contact with
ea help representatives for 3 times, and they recommended solutions that i already found on the internet. none of those solutions worked.
- titanfall2: this game was preloaded. the single player campaign works and is playable. however, when i try to run the multiplayer mode, i get stuck on the
searching for datacenter message. nothing else is displayed, not even an error code. it just sits there and keeps searching for a data center.
battlefield4 works from my origin account.
so, im thinking it could be something that happened to my system that only affects titanfall. i will see in the next 36 hours.
when i have the new OS installed, i will be reloading both titanfall games on a separate volume too and migrating the remaining games
over to the same new volume. there will be no games residing on the C drive.
thats about it. once i have done the quick format, reinstalled windows10, and reloaded both games, i will let you know what the outcome is.
it doesnt make sense that BF4 works, but my titanfall games are not working... the mysteries of gaming software and the pc...

Some users have reported that this can be an issue if you have multiple enabled network adapters. Disable all adapters other than the one you want to use through the control panel and then try again.
Thanks,

I found a solution (for me at least). Disable the ethernet adapter doesn't work for me, so I tried to disable Wi-Fi adapter (which is the one I use) and then enable it. Then I open TF2 and it connects to the server! 🙂
It's a little bit annoying, because I have to do that everytime I wanna play online, so I hope for a patch.
I hope works also for you guys!- Anonymous9 years ago
wow, nice catch on that solution !!!
unfortunately, i only have the one network adaptor and entry. i have a wired connection.

Please press the Windows Key + R on your keyboard and then type device manager. The menu that pops up should look like this:
In the picture you can see my Network Adapters - please also make sure that you check this section on your own system for any enabled devices that you are not using.
You can also reach this menu via Control Panel -> Device Manager.

Same Problem.
Can not connect to the server.
When I click on Multiplayer in the main menu, I get the message:
,,Connecting..."
"Player search list is searched ...."
When the servers are displayed at datacenter. Nothing happens, it is searched and searched for a connection ....
It does not work.
