Please press the Windows Key + R on your keyboard and then type device manager. The menu that pops up should look like this:
In the picture you can see my Network Adapters - please also make sure that you check this section on your own system for any enabled devices that you are not using.
You can also reach this menu via Control Panel -> Device Manager.

Can confirm this fixed my problem(workaround). Open TF2 AND the minimize it.. Disable every network device. Then re-enable the network device you want to use. Also go to show "hidden" devices in the view tab of device manager to disable any devices. Then click on multiplayer in TF2 .Here's my device manager layout

M8, disabling the hidden network adapters worked, I don't even know why I didn't think of that, all I could do is play titanfall 2 via a vpn in order to play multiplayer and that was pretty unstable, thanks.

Still don't work for me, i disabled all my network adapters apart for the one i use.
I have to disable and enable the adapter I use everytime I would play online. Is a little bit annoying...
