Checkpoint System Bug – Progress Not Saved After Death

Why I was playing Titanfall 2 (Campaign Mode), the game displays a 'Checkpoint' notification on the right side of the screen, but after dying, I respawn at the *storyline’s default save point* instead of the latest checkpoint. This forces me to replay large sections.
