Constant Crashing

Titanfall 2 has become literally unplayable for me. I installed it totally fine without any hitches, played through a handful of the campaign story missions and then all of a sudden the game began to crash. I get the same exact error every time. It loads perfectly fine, but once I pick up where I left off in the campaign, the game will freeze for a second of two and then a Windows error will pop up: "0x887A0007 - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET The device failed due to a badly formed command. This is a run-time issue; The application should destroy and recreate the device."

I've tried running Origin with the overlay disabled, I've closed every application running in the background that may be conflicting with the game, I've tried running in Windowed mode, and I've even reinstalled the game completely and nothing has worked. I have a 4690k and an RX 480 with the newest Crimson drivers 16.11.1. Anyone have any other possible solutions?

    I get crashes to desktop, with no error messages, at vary times into gameplay. its driving me insane, much like dishonored 2.

    updated.

    crashes on both.

    done all those steps and more.

    this game and dishonored 2 have been unplayable for me.

    spend too long trying to fix unplayable ports.

    thanks for trying to help but i had no hope of success, i refunded it.

    hopefully in a years time all issues have been fixed and ill revisit the game then.

    this is quite surprising to me as I have played the battlefield 1 beta and it worked flawlessly.

    Never had an issue with a EA game not working, the newly released mirrors edge, and crysis 3.

    @indifel

    I am really sorry, you had such a bad experience with those games. I will forward this thread to the developers to investigate. Thank you for helping us with troubleshooting. I hope you will come back to us sometime in the future.

    See you on the fields of battle!

    Cheers,

    Archi
